When we moved into this house, the one thing I really wanted to do was a gallery wall. Step one: Find a big empty wall – Check! Ok, so here’s the thing. Frames are expensive! But guess what?! I was able to to do this gallery wall of 15 frames for about $140. And that’s including getting the photos printed. The frames were $7.99 each from IKEA! But here’s the catch; they aren’t glass, they’re plastic. Which honestly, in my opinion is perfect because the bottom row of frames is pretty low on the wall, so if my son decides to knock them off, there won’t be any glass shattering. So they are cheaper and shatterproof. I call that a win! Frames are 12×16 and I spaced them 4 inches apart. Tip – Use a laser level to make sure they are straight across and up and down.
